Treatment

How often should I go?

  • We suggest three to four sessions (15 minutes each) per week for 12 weeks. This should be a commitment. Results will not be achieved in just a few sessions, or going “occasionally”. We strongly recommend 3 to 4 sessions per week for the first 12 weeks. Continuous use accelerates cellular activity and fuels the collagen and elastin process. After your first 12 weeks, we recommend 1-2 sessions per week thereafter. Sessions are a relaxing 15 minutes each. Red light therapy can be paired with Sun Bed tanning or Whitening. Red light therapy can be done immediately before a UV tanning, sunless tanning or Whitening and many customers report improved better results when preceded by red light therapy.

How soon do results become noticeable?

  • Everyone reacts differently, depending on their age and the condition of their skin. There are a few immediate changes to skin, such as cleaner, brighter, and tighter feeling skin. Longer term therapy results in improved skin tone and texture. Fine lines, sagging skin, dark circles, and puffiness around eyes is reduced along with evening out of pigmentation. Fading of scaring, wounds, and acne is achieved as skin cells are healed and re-vitalized.

How Should I Prepare?

  • To maximize skin rejuvenation, we recommend wearing no make-up or moisturizers as well as weekly exfoliation for better light penetration. We recommend using Red Light Pre-Spray before your session to best prepare your skin. After your session, we recommend using Red Light Body lotion, as well as Red Light under eye serum(to get rid of any dark circles) and Red Eye Faces(specifically designed for the face). One emerging type of anti-aging treatment has recently gained popularity, but has shown amazing results for years. This treatment, discovered by NASA , is called RED light therapy. RED light therapy is characterized by infrared light, which is a unique type of light that has a stronger wavelength than other types of light. This enables it to penetrate deeper into the skin and provide many therapeutic benefits including improvement in the skin's appearance and structure as well as relief from pain. There is NO UV light associated with RED light therapy.

RED light therapy is able to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, and skin problems including acne, eczema and psoriasis. The initial effect is clearer, brighter & tighter feeling skin. The long-term effect is improved skin clarity, tone & texture. Fine lines & wrinkles, dark circles as well as puffiness around the eyes are reduced, while the effects of environmental damage and chronological aging are minimized. You will also receive healing benefits as well.

Over time, Red Light Therapy will help restore tired-looking skin, diminish freckles, age spots, & acne, even out pigmentation, minimize the size of facial pores, improve the appearance of weathered skin, and stimulate collagen synthesis, improving the skin's supportive structure.

Like most skincare products, the effects of red light therapy take time. Red light therapy will not produce immediate changes to skin, as the treatments are done in a series to effect noticeable and long-lasting effects. This is done over a period of a few weeks. Everyone reacts differently result varies, as not all skin is the same. In general, the best results will be seen in an 8 to 12 week period, or over a period of several months.

Does Red Light Therapy Really Work?

Yes, red light therapy appears to work in reducing the signs of aging. However, the length of time in achieving the desired results can vary from person to person. It is also advisable that maintenance treatments are utilized regularly, as not doing so will cause lines and age spots to appear again.
